There are no shortage of canal cruises in Amsterdam but most are soulless affairs, with hundreds of people crammed together onto large boats. But not this one. For something truly unique, hop aboard this small specially-built boat and see the sights in serious style. Setting sail from beside the Rijksmuseum, this intimate voyage includes live commentary from a guide while plying the waters of some of the city's loveliest canals, all the while enjoying the onboard drinks (there's also a toilet) and the open deck at the back of the boat. It's an electric vessel, meaning it sails almost silently, and comes with heated cushioned seats and a retractable cover should the weather turn.
